Here is your winter project car, a few months early!
This car was completely stripped and repainted, and I was reassembling it when an arsonist set my garage on fire. The car itself did not burn, but the heat destroyed the paint and it will need to be stripped and refinished. The interior was mostly ruined, but I have accumulated some major parts - seats, carpet, dashboard, HVAC, rear panels.
There is no drivetrain or brakes, but I've seen those at JDM shops for $5000+ for a complete front clip, which would be a great idea to buy as you will get many more parts needed for the front end. The hood is damaged, as are both bumper covers. There are some dents in the fenders as well but structurally, the car is fine. The roof is intact, but all trim is damaged. Mechanically, it's A1.
The entire suspension was completely dismantled and everything was refinished, sandblasted hubs and repainted them, new ARP wheel studs installed, all control arms and joints inspected, refinished and/or replaced. Now, they need some attention to get the smoke damage cleaned off.
It's a challenging job, but the car is well worth restoring. Any parts that I have which are needed will be included, and I have a huge resource network for used parts that I'll be happy to share with you.
Finished, this is a $30,000 car if done right.
